The Sound Bath Savasana was incredible!

Here's what one participant had to say about the Sept 23rd Sound Bath Savasana:

Hi Jeannine,

I just wanted to thank you. The Sound Bath Savasana was incredible! It took me awhile to let go of the tension but I certainly felt it when I did and have not felt this centered and deep relaxation in a long time. My first experience was better than I could have imagined and am looking forward to November’s session. Thank you.

Classes resume tomorrow!

Fall is almost officially here and Studio 71 Yoga classes resume tomorrow, Saturday Sept 17th.

Some of the classes and workshops are full and there are only a few spots left for the Sept 23rd Sound Bath Savasana. Thank you to everyone who has registered for classes.

Remember that drop-in is available on Saturday mornings from 10:30-11:30 am at Aromansse (288 Marion Street) for Vinyasa Flow classes if that suits your schedule.

I am looking forward to seeing you on the mat!

Namaste,

Jeannine

August Updates

It's the middle of August and it's been a warm and sunny month! Yoga in Provencher Park on Thursdays at noon and Saturdays at 10 a.m. has been enjoyable. There are still two weeks left and the classes are free so come and join us!

Since September is just around the corner I've prepared new offerings for Fall 2016 that include yoga classes, restorative yoga workshops, and sound bath savasanas. For more information see my updated schedule and well as the "Events & Workshops" tab.

Private and corporate classes or events are also available and can be customized to suit your unique needs. I would love to explore these possibilities with you so feel free to contact me!

I hope to see you soon.

Live, love and breathe!

Free Yoga in Provencher Park!

Yoga in Provencher Park started today and it was nice and sunny in St. Boniface for the duration of our 45 minute practice!!! Four students attended and it was a bit noisy because of the traffic but we all enjoyed the nice breeze and the sun peeking through the leaves of the surrounding trees! If you’re planning to attend the August upcoming classes in the park, it would be a good a idea to bring an old beach towel to place under your yoga mat. Unfortunately, our mats were a little dirty from the concrete surface but otherwise it was great!

See details below for upcoming classes:

Thursdays at noon until 12:45, and Saturdays from 10-11 am, Aug 4 until Aug 27, please join me for karma (free) yoga classes in Provencher Park (on the concrete pad at the corner of Provencher & Langevin). Karma classes are typically donation-based, however, I am offering free classes as a way to give back to the community!

Classes will be Vinyasa Flow style. Suitable for beginners and all levels are welcome. Please bring your yoga mat and a water bottle (and perhaps a friend or two) and remember it’s best to give yourself at least 2 hours to digest meals or snacks before coming to a yoga class.

For safety reasons classes will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather at the yoga teacher’s discretion (that’s me!). I’ll be putting updates on my Facebook page or you can call or text me at 204-291-0439 for the latest info. If it’s very hot and humid I may also cancel the class since heat exhaustion is not on the program. :-)
