DISCLAIMER

As a physical practice, yoga provides excellent benefits.

But only you know your body and its limits.

DISCLAIMER

Yoga is a method of self-inquiry. Listen to your body by paying close attention to how you feel to ascertain whether you should or should not be doing something. The golden rule is, “If it doesn’t feel right, then don’t do it.” It is your responsibility to decide how and what to practice.

If you experience pain while practicing, it’s crucial to cease immediately. If you have any concerns regarding your fitness or health, it’s recommended that you consult your doctor or another healthcare professional for appropriate medical advice.

As a group instructor, I cannot always monitor each individual in my classroom or online session. Therefore, I, Jeannine Roy, cannot assume any liability or responsibility for how you move your body in my yoga studio, any other related venue, or in the privacy of your surroundings.

When you click on the link(s) in the email(s) that you receive from Studio 71 Yoga (Jeannine Roy), Zoom, Acuity Squarespace, or another provider for online classes/sessions, you are entering into a contract whereby you agree to take full responsibility for yourself during your participation.

As a yoga teacher, I facilitate sharing circles.

A sharing circle is a sacred space that offers refuge from daily pressures.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Sharing circles create an inclusive space where people listen to each other without judgement and feel free to express who they are and how they feel without fear of consequences.

Integral to this sacred space is an agreement of confidentiality – what is shared remains in the circle. Therefore, unless you have express consent, you are NOT PERMITTED to discuss what you learned during a ‘sharing circle’ with anyone outside that circle.

In addition, for reasons of confidentiality, live-streamed virtual classes/sessions are NOT RECORDED.

You DO NOT have permission to record any classes/sessions.

I look forward to welcoming you to my live online or in-person yoga classes.
