Happy International Women’s Day to all you wonderful women!!!
It is my true pleasure to be able to share yoga with you, which is much more than the "twisty & bendy" poses involved in the asanas that we are working on individually and collectively. Yoga is ultimately about finding stillness within as we slowly peel away layers of ourselves and it is this aspect of yoga that we knowingly and unknowingly share with others as we go about our daily lives.
One of my favourite yoga teachers is Judith Hanson Lasater and I thought you might enjoy her You Tube video called “Can restorative yoga help us sleep better?” Judith has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 40 years and she has some insightful information on rest and sleep that I think you will find interesting and helpful. It’s worth taking 20 minutes out of your busy day to watch this video!
